Get your vacation plans ready now for the 4th of July Weekend this year. Aretha Franklin is one of the artists performing at this year’s Essence Music Festival and the theme will be “Power of Voices”.

This year’s Essence Music Festival in New Orleans hitting the stage will be Mary J. Blige, Aretha Franklin, Fantasia, Keyshia Cole, and other artists such as SWV, Ledisi, Charlie Wilson, Raheem DeVaughn will be hitting the stage July 6-8 at the Superdome in New Orleans this year.

The theme is “Power of Our Voices” and will feature show stopping performances from Aretha and Mary J. There will be empowerment seminars from Steve Harvey , Rev Al Sharpton, Congresswoman Maxine Waters, and many more.
